We were in the local steam bath in Seltjarnarnes, irritated and frustrated at another failed attempt to record our new song“Square One”.  We didn’t want to throw away the third attempt, especially as we had pulled in a slick double bass player, but we knew he had to -- it just wasn't working.  The timing didn't feel right, the tones were meh, etc etc.  So we decided there to throw it away and make March about something we rarely do, which is to record straight "to tape" -- live without overdubs, edits or corrections.  

It was a unique challenge for us; we're used to working with the tools of modern recording -- inside the computer you can make everything just so -- just as you hear it in your ideal musician's mind. Indeed, most of our records start with only a vague idea and spring to life under the knife of plugins, time correction, pitch correction, and overdubs.  

So without any further blathering; here's 4 songs (3 of them new) that we've barely fucked with at all.  Hope you like it.
